Ecomax’s large handles permits a quick uncoupling between the filter part and the tube. By combining more filtering units, you can increase the filtration capacity to suite your needs. The blue sponge that follows the pump’s perimeter (density 25ppi) avoids clogging (mechanical filtration), while the internal white one, with a lower density (avoiding the pump to overtire), works as a biological filter, offering its large surface to the colonies of water-purifying bacteria. The white sponge may be substituted by bio-balls or ceramic rings.
The Ecomax filter can be used with pumps up to 6000l/h.
